About Me
Not long finished uni, graduated summer 2008 and I've started working full time (not planned but then again theres a credit crunch over here). Wish I went away travelling to Aus or US for a year but sure I get 2 months summer holidays now every year .... and get paid for it (but can't seem to keep hold of that cash). I suppose being on this site it's obvious im a big Oasis fan. I listen loads of bands now - but my love of music all originates from Oasis! Theres nothing better than sitting in the house with friends chilling, drinking and listening to all the albums, b-sides and bootlegs! What else matters really in life!!
Hobbies
Going to festivals and gigs all the time ... and drinking at them (thats a big part of it!!). The music scene is very lively where i'm at and theres lots of places to see big and small bands. I do a bit of abstract artwork, portraits and animations in my spare time and can actually be quite creative when im drunk!! Therefore i'm always creative (in theory)!! haha!! Play alot of pool and sometimes attempt snooker and darts. Used to play hurling when I was younger but then I got inroduced to drink and couldn't run for sustained periods any longer. Oops.
Movies
Kingpin is brilliant, Anchorman is also a classic up there!! Lucky Number Sleven also deserves a mention.
Music
Oasis, The Verve, Stereophonics, Supergrass, Rage Against The Machine, Yeah Yeah Yeah's,The Subways, MGMT, Arctic Monkeys, The Strokes, Pogues, Vampire Weekend, Stone Roses, Beatles, Rolling Stones, The Enemy, Biffy Clyro, Pigeon Detectives, Kasabian, Muse ... I could go on ... and on ..

hey, you should check out the band "The Reign of Kindo"...they are kinda alternative rock/jazz..idk what they are classified as. they are not like oasis, so I don't know if you will like them, but they are definitely quality. I got to see them live, they are not real well known so if you are interested and have trouble with finding some songs i can send you any. they rock...im on a reign kick right now :P

wow! that is crazy, so many gigs. wish i had the money to do stuff like that. Im so jealous! You will have the best time! I look forward to that new, really rediculously randomly named album haha.

As for jobs, it prolly will be hard to find a job here because i dont want an shit retail job with a bunch of teenyboppers. that would suck...last year i worked at an art camp. that was fun but i dont want to do it again...i dont want to do anything but go to my beachhouse and lay out in the sun, work on my surfing, and eat crab...but that prolly wont happen... haha

HEY! Never been better! school is finishing up, this coming tuesday is the last day of classes and then finals start. unfortunately i dont have a job lined up for the summer and im low on money....but now worries i guess. 34 days! that is exciting, and paid break..AWESOME. Im listening to Fire right now, sometimes the singer sounds so much like noel it is ridiculous. do you agree?

yeah clearly i haven't checked my page in awhile, but luckily enough i have my first test in france coming up, so it seemed imperative to see what was going on online for several hours instead of studying. My french friend did move, but I might go visit him, and crazily enough I've found MORE! Can you believe it?!?
My internship will be in DC this summer, which I'm sad about, but I just found out that it starts later then I thought so I can stick around awhile longer, and I'll also I'll be living with my best friend since she lives all close to my work, which is awesome cuz I don't think I could handle living at home after 6 months of perfect freedom. Anyway, how are things in Ireland? Don't think I'll make it over there this trip, which I'm a bit sad about, but I've gone some good places in Fance and Switzerland and Germany so I'm pretty content. How was your vacation?...it was ages ago by now, but I never asked. Anyway, I'll ttyl, prob next time there's a test!

ah you get off soon? me too i'm completely siked cuz my last class is the day of my birthday and then i can go out after and have a quite a party, and have a week off to recuperate lol. Oh but you should send me songs too if you have time...And no, turns out I don't get a room mate ever...triste! but its ok my next door nighbor is a scottish girl and she's super fun, although no ginna, but i hafta make do! ive made a few french friends although its so depressing cuz my one superawesome french friend is leaving for an internship, and ive only known him like two weeks but hes completely great, and hes going to another city thats like 250km away in a week or two. SO SAD! but i do have some others so maybe theyll have to become my NEW best french friends haha. hope ur vacation is fun! ttyl...

Haha I'm sure if I heard you speak I'd be quite jealous of your English instead of my crappy Baltimore accent. Do you end all your sentences with "like" lol? and say "thats class"? cuz if so, then im already jealous...But yeah I did a tiny bit of hurling with my friend, but surprise surprise I hardcore sucked at it. But fun nonetheless. They've all managed to keep pretty good at it, despite their frequent evenings out. And I won't be home for AGES it seems like,although I'm sure it'll come faster then I expect. I come home at the end of May, but depending on where my internship is this summer I might only be back for a week or two. I really love it here, but I miss my home friends especially Ginna...I'm roommate-less here, and its sad. But next year we shall be reunited, although by then we will have an apt and no longer share a room. But we'll be together haha so that's exciting. Have you been to the US?

My break ends next sunday..its a little sad but at least then i will be having more social interaction hanging out with friends and stuff. Glad to hear that you are slowly converting these children!! its better for them ;) And ill be thinking about other bands that I like and try to continue to give good suggestions. i feel the pressure!!
