Hey guys, I need your help! I have a section on oasisweb and it is sorta neglected by me. Its got some words that fans contributed a while back that have to do with the band, their music etc...

If you want to 'define' some words- album titles, songs, words used frequently by the band, etc please post the definitions here. If your wondering what the hell im talking about click here and you should get an idea of what I mean. Thanks in advance! I look forward to having a full dictionary shortly ;) EVERY definition counts!

male genitalia, nuts, balls etc. =P

And can also be used in the same sense as when someone says bullsh*t.

Yes, of course I believe you! I didn't mean to imply that I disbelieved you. I was just kiddin' around because it was funny that you were so . . . well . . . forthright about it. If that's what it means, then that's what it means--balls and all!

Now, I want to know what "scouser" means. I saw that in an article that Ginna posted about Noel and his sports-playing days when he was younger. By the way, that was a darn good article. Also, the guys use the word "rubbish" a lot. I guess that one is kinda self-explanatory, but it's still worth posting a good definition on it.

Oh right lol, I tried to make it as clear as possible ^ - ^

Scouser = A person from Liverpool.
Rubbish = Garbage.
Bobbins = Sh*t.
Brazzin' = Brilliant, Great etc.
Geordie (Gem =P) = A person from Newcastle.

Thanks Ginna. That word intrigued me.

Yes, you were crystal clear! And that's a good thing. And thanks for the mini-dictionary of interesting words. I've wondered about that 'Geordie' word. I finally found out that 'Mancunian' means a person from Manchester, but I could be wrong on that.

Here's some stuff for all ye definition officionados . . .
1. A "Git"
2. "Geezer" (in Americanese this is usually an old guy who is an all-around nuisance)--may not mean the same thing in the UK, because I hear the English say this about young guys, too.
3. The term "backbeat." The word was in the song, "Wonderwall". Like "Backbeat, the word was on the street . . ."

1. Git: Basically means the same as idiot, can also be used in a non insulting manner amongst friends.
2. Geezer: The English equivalent of calling someone "dude", but generally not used by younger people.... we just say... dude.
3. Backbeat: Someone lazy or carefree, or in a song sense; literally when the beat drops or skips.
